CrossFit Group Classes

Come on in and give it a try. We offer free trial introductory sessions to give you a chance to try it out! There is no membership contract, and no long term commitment. We know you will love CrossFit and want to keep coming back! Please see the what is CrossFit page for more info on what crossFit is.

Before attending regular CrossFit Sessions you will be required to attend The CrossFit Airdrie On Ramp Program

The On-Ramp is a skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes. We are going to be hammering technique— both to ensure your safety—and success at the next level.”

We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, then intensity. We will be showing you movements that begin with the relatively non technical and progressively more technical.

It’s important that you are here for each of the 12 sessions as these movements build on one another. There will be a workout at the end of each session which will get progressively more challenging as the course progresses.

The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands…the degree that you push yourself will determine how much suffering goes on. The class is called “On Ramp” for a specific reason…we want to ramp you up to the level of intensity and output that is inherent in our group classes. Shifts in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success, and will be weighing and taking measurements as well as photos prior to the first session. To enhance your results Paleo nutritional information will also be provided.

We strongly recommend you purchase a training journal and food log to track both your diet and workouts.

Please register by email include your name and indicate which session dates and time am or pm you would like to register for. The first 14 registrants will be accepted. People who are registered and do not attend will be put to the back of the registration.

Please arrive 20 minutes early to the first session.

We will take ongoing registration and On Ramp sessions will run continuously.

CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Edge Airdrie also offers CrossFit Kids and Preschoolers Classes! The same broad, and inclusive strength and conditioning program but with scaled load and intensity and a ton of fun!

CrossFit Kids – Ages 6 – 17

A 45 minute youth fitness program is founded in and utilizes the principles of CrossFit. CrossFit Kids is dedicated to giving kids the opportunity to excel in their fitness and skill level. Whether your young athlete is a beginner to a fitness program or a highly skilled sport specific athlete CrossFit Kids is the training protocol for young individuals seeking a high quality functional fitness program. This Program is for girls and boys of all fitness levels and capabilities ages 6 to 17 year old boys and girls and is designed to promote fun fitness through games, challenges, and relays.

CrossFit Kids focuses on teaching core fundamental movements to develop the athlete’s overall ability to move and function in various active environments.

You have the option of 1-3 sessions/week.

CrossFit Preschoolers – Ages 3 – 5

A 30 minute, class that introduces your active preschooler aged 3 to 5 years to sport, fitness and the basics of CrossFit through jumping, playing, singing and dancing in a fun a very high energy environment. All activities are adapted to meet your child’s needs and abilities. Bring out your ‘inner child’ and encourage your childs’ love of sport and fitness while preparing for progression to CrossFit Kids and other sport programmes.
You have the option of coming 1 or 2 times a week. Please Contact us for times.

Private Training

Personal Training or semi-private training is a great way to have one on one time with a highly skilled CrossFit Coach. All of CrossFit Edge’s coaches are talented, motivated, and have a strong desire to help people obtain their fitness goals! However, because these individuals are committed to offering their clients the utmost attention and high quality training, they only commit to a few clients each month.

Nutrition Counseling

For those looking to optimize performance or just slim down, CrossFit Edge offers Nutrition Counseling with our resident nutritionist. Information about common nutritional programs such as “The Zone” and “The Paleo Diet” are available along with recipe advice, calorie intake calculations, and macronutrient recommendations.
